BOB no. 62 - make a meal
- check!
I almost forgot! I actually HAVE completed a task these past days! The reason I forgot this one is because I do this EVERY DAY. It's the wonders about being unemployed, grown-up, a mother and together with a novice in the kitchen :)
Yet, I kind of like cooking so I don't complain. This meal is a fishsoup consisting of cod- and salmon filets, sugar peas, carrots and haricots verts. And of course a lot of cream :).
I haven't posted for a few days, but don't think I have been lazy! I have a few tasks running currently that takes a while to complete. And also I am awaiting answers from a couple of swedish companies regarding sponsoring and advertisement. It would be so great if some of them would join in on this.
I did buy a swedish version of the Kamasutra (in modern version). Actually, I think a book like this would be handed out to every couple as a wedding gift :). But I think I have to go to the library to get a feeling of a much older version. I searched the internet for it, and found an english translation from the original of sanskrit. I think that is the one I'm curious about. Anyways, below is a photo of the book I am studying at the moment. Never knew learing things could be so satisfying. But still I've got some pages to go, so I'm not all-knowingly yet... :D
If you haven't got a book like this, go ahead and get one!
I have also taken a few steps towards domination of poker. My sweetheart is teaching me the basics at night. So far I've already learned that poker and too much wine is a bad idea :).
no. 3 - Make an Origami Crane
- Check!
Good morning! Did you know this "list-thing" is addictive? I woke up this morning thinking "Yes! Today I'm gonna make an Origami Crane". Now that is a thought I havent thought for a while...
After checking the internet for instructions I used this website for help http://monkey.org/~aidan/origami/crane/crane1.html
I also remembered my best friend in middle school was superb at making these f**king birds (oups, 1 SEK for the swear box...) when we were little. I still am miserable at it, but at least I managed to make one, beautiful or not.
Tadaaa! It's an Origami Crane!!!
I realize that having kids is a great thing when it comes to complete the tasks of the Before I am Old and Boring-list. Today me and my kids finished another two of the 101 things, only 98 left then :).
Here's some evidence caught on camera.
no. 16 - Make a swear box
- Check!
My 5 year old son helped me creating the swear box. He also wrote the adorable sign which says "Bad Words 1 SEK" :). I believe I am the one in this family who will contribute most to this box...
no. 66 - Have a Snowball Fight and Fun in the Snow
- Check!
Today after preschool we took a walk on request by my youngest son Philip. The weather has been wonderful today so we decided to bring their plastic sledges with us. Luckily we found this perfect little hill not so far away from home, where we rode the sledges, threw snow balls and rolled around in the snow. As the spring is closing in on us being March already, it is a must to enjoy every beautiful snowy day now. This winter has truly been remarkable.
Well, I congratulate me on checking off my first task! Although it wasn't such a great effort as blogging come as a kinda natural effect on this "listing-thing" :).

I've decided to do it. For some time now I've been looking for some inspiration in my life, and I'm quite thrilled to say that I think I've found it. In the shape of a list :). I love 2-do-lists, and the feeling when checking them off, so I truly hope this is the perfect tool for me.
The author of this list is Richard Horne, and "the list" is really a book published as
You can read more about this book and others he's written if you click on the image above. He's also published another list called "101 Things To Do Before You Get Old and Boring" which is a list for the younger adventurers. But hey, I think I'm not to old for that one, so I'm actually going to run these lists head by head and hopefully complete as many tasks as I can on both of them "Before I Get Boring and Die".
Wish me luck, and hope to see you on the way!
